CCE Design Associates provided civil engineering construction documents and value engineering services for this proposed five story charter school in Central Los Angeles.
This project was a challenging infill project with existing buildings on two adjoining lots and roadways with public sidewalks abutting the other two portions of this site. The building foundation elements created conflicts with the site utilities, requiring significant coordination and creativity with the design team on getting sewage out of the building without introducing ejector pumps. Additionally, this project included a very creative stormwater treatment solution, with a combined biofiltration/capture and reuse system.
